Material Specifications:
The main component in our pre-engineered steel building is the “Rigid” frame. Your building may only require one, but longer buildings can require many. The rigid frame will be custom designed for your specific building size and roof pitch. The rigid frame is the backbone of your building, and the best frame on the market. You have probably seen these in large commercial or industrial size buildings. The compact design follows the contour of the roof line without sacrificing strength, or hanging down, like many truss designs do, and obstructing the space you need to utilize in your building.
All secondary structural members are high strength 57,000 psi AISC Certified steel (cees or zees), cut to length for easy assembly.
All roof and wall panels are 26 gauge, 80,000 psi, AISC Certified steel. Roof and wall panels are cut to length; therefore minimal cutting or trimming is required in the field. Roofing panels utilized are a galvalume finish (galvalume panels carry a 25 year warranty). Wall panels are factory painted with a siliconized polyester paint; there are several color options available (painted panels carry a 30 year warranty). Painted roof panels are available as an upgrade.
All trim is included with the kit (rake, eave, corner and base). Jamb and header trim is also furnished around all doors and windows. Gutters and overhangs are available as options.
All roof and wall panels are attached with color matching, self-drilling fasteners. All panel laps are also fastened with self-drilling fasteners. Roll mastic sealant is included for roof panel sidelaps. Foam closures, die-formed to conform to the panel profile, are included to “pest-proof” the structure.
Some buildings may require the availability of one bay for cable bracing; otherwise modified bracing is required at an additional cost.
